Colette Vogele is an attorney with a passion for solving complex platform liability challenges. Her expertise includes individual privacy rights, online anonymity, free expression, intellectual property, robotics, and AR/VR. Her work on online privacy has been featured in publications including Forbes.com, the New York Times Tech Talk, CNET, and This Week In Law. Vogele is currently an Associate General Counsel in AR/VR at Facebook, Inc. Prior to that, she worked at Microsoft supporting product, policy, regulatory affairs, and marketing teams. Before that she headed her own firm in San Francisco where she represented businesses and individuals in IP, platform liability, and online harassment matters. She was affiliated as a Fellow at Stanford Law School’s Center for Internet & Society (2004-2014), where she began the work which developed into co-founding Without My Consent in 2011 with co-founder Erica Johnstone.
